Naina Tikkar IH is located on the main highway that connects Nahan to Kumarhatti; in turn, this road connects to the Chandigarh-Kalka-Solan-Shimla highway. The three rooms of this inspection hut offer panoramic views of Kalka and Chandigarh in the plains below. There are open grasslands and pine forests around Naina Tikkar - and the place is named after the shrine of Mata Naina Tikkar. The temple of Bhureshwar Mahadev is about 7kms from here.
